2027 Season News
Friends and supporters, for whom we are most grateful -
2026 was a wonderful season for us. The Winter Cabaret, entitled "Happy Birthday America", was a great deal of fun, and the best way to kick off the season which celebrated America's 250th birthday. Our production of the musical 1776 was overwhelmingly lauded, and was our first complete sell-out... we even had to add a paid dress rehearsal so more eager folks could see this timely and gripping show. This production made us proud in so many ways. Finally, our summer concerts provided our full houses with such great performances that we received weeks of glowing audience reviews even after the final concert ended. It was a banner year.
It is hard to think of "topping" this past year, but rather, we hope to keep doing what we do best - creating beautiful productions of works that are meaningful to us and to you, utilizing the talents of the classically and professionally trained singers right here in our community, which is the core of our mission.
As 2026 comes to a close and our new season begins, please consider either renewing your membership, or becoming a treasured friend of Greater Worcester Opera with a membership at one of the levels below.
