2023 Season News
Greater Worcester Opera is turning 20! Founded in 2003, this coming season will mark our 20th year, and we are so grateful to have made it to this wonderful anniversary, due to the dedication of our performers and the generosity and support of our surrounding community. We are here because of you!
Due to the significance of this year, we’re planning several events. This year our Giving Season Fundraiser will support our 20th Anniversary Alumni Concert, on March 18 at the JMAC BrickBox in Worcester. Singers from the past 20 years from near and far will be coming together to sing selections from many operas we’ve performed during that time (in English translation.) It will quite a reunion, full of wonderful music and wonderful people.
If you are able to help us in any way (there are several listed below) we'd be very grateful. Even if you can't, we do hope you'll come to our events, cheer us on, enjoy the fruits of our labor (there's lots of labor involved!) and be blessed by the talented and wonderful people that make up this company and this community.
