Music of the Theatre - On Saturday, May 19 at Clinton Town Hall, GWO joins with Maestro Bob Eaton and the Assabet Valley Mastersingers for a wonderful evening of music from opera, operetta and musical theatre.  Soloists Christine Petkus, Elaine Crane, Richard Monroe and David Bonneau join with the ASV chorus to bring you opera favorites as well as lighter music, from Strauss's Die Fledermaus to Gilbert and Sullivan.  The program will close with choruses from America's Broadway theatre.  There is reserved table seating which includes hors d'oeuvres and desserts with the concert, as well as traditional concert seating.  For more information visit Assabet Valley Mastersingers online at www.AVMsingers.org.

Featuring a double cast of incredible local talent (two different shows- consider seeing both!), performances will take place on June 8 & 9 (7:30 PM) and June 10 (2:00 PM) at the Zecco Theatre at Anna Maria College, and then again on June 20 (7:30 PM) at the Eagle Hill Cultural Center in Hardwick, MA.  Please visit our Carmen webpage for more details.

9th Annual Summer Concert Series
Join GWO for this very popular and highly anticipated concert experience!  This year's concerts include Broadway Melodies (July 18), American Songbook (July 25), Music from the Movies (August 1) and Opera Gala (August 8).  For a mere $10 admission, it's a lovely way to support GWO's upcoming season while relaxing in an air-conditioned room listening to beautiful music, narrated by Rick Kimball and expertly accompanied by Olga Rogach.

Diamonds and Toads

Aria Sing
"Aria Sing" is a program that enables professional singers and seriously studying amateurs get together every other month, share in the cost of an accompanist, and have the chance to perform repertoire of their choice from opera, operetta, oratorio, art song, etc.  This can be useful for trying out new arias, refining older ones, gaining some practical performing experience  or getting ready for auditions, and is also a great place to network and get to know other singers in the area.  Please visit our Aria Sing webpage for more information about the program, or email aria_sing@greaterworcesteropera.org

Please consider a tax-deductible donation- your support is vital and appreciated!
